Erasmus and Leonardo program

The purpose of Erasmus is to improve the quality of higher education and strengthen its European dimension. It does this by encouraging transnational cooperation between universities, fostering the European mobility of students and teachers, and contributing to improved transparency and academic recognition of qualifications and studies throughout the European Union.

Erasmus Program, part Student placements

Leonarda da Vinci, higher education


Leonardo is the European Community program for vocational training. It encourages collaboration between organisations involved in vocational training, aiming to improve the quality of training provision, to develop the skills and mobility of the workforce, to stimulate innovation and to enhance the competitiveness of European industry.
