Master program Information Security Technology

You've graduated. Now what?

As a graduate of this special Master program, you combine a scientific attitude with an engineering approach. In addition, as a Master of Science in Information Security Technology, you possess the following skills:

  • You can work independently.
  • You are strong in reflection, critical analysis and generating new ideas.
  • You work dedicatedly, systematically and methodically within a multidisciplinary environment.
  • You possess a broad overview of both the theoretical and technical aspects of information security.
  • You have organizational skills and are familiar with current legal and ethical issues.
  • You are an expert in at least one field of information security. You can also get involved in cryptographic primitives, security protocols, data storage, communications or information security management.
  • You can contribute to a discussion of the role of information security in our society.
  • You can collaborate in developing new security systems, setting requirements for application security and selecting appropriate technologies for it.

Down to work
Our alumni are active, for example, as internal and/or external consultants in matters where the security of a company or organization is a central focus point. You can find employment in various organizations such as:

  • research laboratories
  • scientific facilities
  • corporate Research & Development departments
  • the financial industry
  • consulting
