As a graduate of this special Master program, you combine a scientific attitude with an engineering approach. In addition, as a Master of Science in Information Security Technology, you possess the following skills:
- You can work independently.
- You are strong in reflection, critical analysis and generating new ideas.
- You work dedicatedly, systematically and methodically within a multidisciplinary environment.
- You possess a broad overview of both the theoretical and technical aspects of information security.
- You have organizational skills and are familiar with current legal and ethical issues.
- You are an expert in at least one field of information security. You can also get involved in cryptographic primitives, security protocols, data storage, communications or information security management.
- You can contribute to a discussion of the role of information security in our society.
- You can collaborate in developing new security systems, setting requirements for application security and selecting appropriate technologies for it.

Our alumni are active, for example, as internal and/or external consultants in matters where the security of a company or organization is a central focus point. You can find employment in various organizations such as:
