Admission and enrollment

General information admission procedures
To apply for a TU/e Master program, you need a Bachelor’s degree based on a program of sufficient academic level and quality. Please choose one of the following options:

After Polytechnics/hbo to the master IS  
Various hbo diploma’s enable you to be admitted via a pre-Master program to the Innovation Sciences Master. These are:

  • General Operational  Technology
  • Car Engineering
  • Computer Science Management Architecture and construction enginee
  • Chemical Technology
  • Civil Engineering
  • Computer Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Precision Mechanical Engineering
  • HLO Chemistry
  • (Higher) Computer Science
  • (Higher) Installation Technology
  • Human Electrical Engineering
  • Royal Naval Institute
  • Environmental material technology
  • Shipbuilding
  • Industrial Engineering and Management Science
  • Engineering Computer Science
  • Applied Physics
  • Aircraft Engineering
  • (Commercial) Mechanical Engineering

If you have followed a different pre-Master’s course, admission may also be possible. In such a case, send an e-mail to the secretary of the Admissions Board, via info-msc@tue.nl, adding a list of certified copies of your relevant diploma  and hbo subjects as well as a summary of the content of the subjects.
