The Master’s program in Science Education and Communication is a teacher’s training for Dutch students. The program consists of four specialist areas: Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The program is given by the Eindhoven School of Education (ESoE).
Training begins at ESoE with a deepening of your chosen specialist area. This is followed by further training in pedagogy, teaching science, and teaching specialist subjects. You will do this in combination with an internship in education.
Teaching competence
You will be trained by ESoE to become a preparatory teacher in higher education. Your teaching competence will apply to all classes in further education and high school education. You will terminate your Master’s training with research into teaching practices.
