Admission and application

There are a number of general requirements for admission to this Master's degree program:

  • A relevant Bachelor's degree (for instance Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Molecular Science and Technology, Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, Technical Mathematics or Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent, based on a program of sufficient academic level and quality to be able to complete this Master's degree program.
  • A Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 75% of the scale maximum. Students hoping to participate in selection for the TSP scholarship require a CGPA of 80% minimum.
  • You must be able to demonstrate sufficient command of the English language in which the program is taught. To prove sufficient command of the English language you should submit an Academic IELTS or TOEFL test.

Scholarships and grants
Various scholarships are open to students wishing to follow a Master's degree program at the TU/e. A requirement of most scholarships is that you have been admitted to a Master's degree program before you may apply to the scholarship. It is therefore important that you take good note of the scholarships deadlines and apply well in advance to the TU/e Master's degree program of your choice in time to meet the scholarship deadline. Students from EU countries may also optionally get a grant. Read more about the scholarships and grants.

Application
