The TU/e stimulates entrepreneurship and offers starting entrepreneurs a number of facilities:

Flexroom

At this moment a new room is being created in the Multi Media Paviljoen for student-entrepreneurs who have started a business during their studies. It is called the flexroom and it will be ready mid-2013. After an initial meeting with Kees Kokke of the Center for Entrepreneurship, you can reserve a desk for one or multiple parts of the week. You can work there and/or exchange experiences with other flex workers. Thus you start building your own network from the beginning. For further support you can contact several business developers who have offices nearby.

Business Accommodation

The TU/e Innovation Lab offers attractively priced office space to companies and startups associated with the university. The TU/e Innovation Lab B.V. is located on the TU/e campus, near the station and the city center. Campus accommodation makes it possible to maintain the links between the university and university-related companies; the exchange of knowledge and experience is enormously beneficial. Moreover, the companies enjoy easy access to the elite research facilities on the campus. The Connector and Multi Media Paviljoen buildings currently have a variety of office space available, ranging in size from 10 m2 to 90 m2. As well as an attractive reception area with a central reception desk, these locations also provide meeting rooms equipped with various technology. Tenants are welcome to use “Il Invento,” the business restaurant, which includes a roof terrace and in-house caterer.
