The TU/e Innovation Lab fulfils an active, encouraging and supportive role in relation to knowledge valorization and innovation. The three spearheads of the Innovation Lab are to:

• Actively develop, build and expand the cooperation with large, technology-driven companies and organizations at the regional, national and international levels;
• Promote knowledge transfer to, and innovation projects with, the regional SME sector;
• Encourage entrepreneurship and innovation by identifying, supporting and providing guidance for potential high-tech startups and spin-off companies originating at TU/e.
