The TU/e campus has paid parking. Staff can apply for a free-parking pass. Students may also have parking authorization in certain cases.
Parking rates
The car parking rates are based on the municipal rates applicable in Eindhoven. The first half hour is free. Thereafter the following rates apply:
- € 0.50 per twenty minutes
- € 5.00 per 24 hours (day rate)
- € 5.00 per lost ticket
The rates apply to every day of the week, 24 hours per day. You can park for a maximum of 48 consecutive hours for the daily rate of € 5.00. After that, a daily rate of € 16.00 applies.
Pay: where and how?
You can pay using coins, banknotes or smartcard at one of the six ticket machines. The smartcard also allows you to drive in past the barrier and you can also use your smart card at the exit barrier to pay and exit. The campus has three smartcard recharging points.
The six ticket machines are at the following locations:
- De Zaale to the north of the main building (+ smartcard)
- De Zaale at the parking strip in the direction of the Insulindelaan exit (+ smartcard)
- De Rondom by the TNO building (+ smartcard)
- Het Eeuwsel by the IPO building
- Auditorium car park
- De Lismortel by the Pavilion cycle shed
