Students associations have traditionally played an important role in the Eindhoven student life. Indeed, the Eindhoven Student Association is almost as old as the university itself and several Eindhoven student sports associations are unparalleled. In addition to these associations, Eindhoven also has many study and culture associations, international student associations and philosophy associations. Many have their own space at the student center De Bunker, just across from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e).
