CASA Vertigo is ‘home’ to activities at the interface of art, culture and technology at the Department of the Built Environment. In concrete terms, CASA organizes at least eight exhibitions each year in the Vertigo departmental building.

The aim of CASA Vertigo is to broaden (cross-disciplinary) and deepen (new viewpoints, provocative propositions, shaping passions), thus providing an indication of what the department could or should experience as architectural culture. Themes give the program direction and are substantiated in part by what is on offer at hospitable institutions and by initiatives from the architectural community.
