The Electrical Engineering faculty educates Masters of Science (MSc), Professional Doctors of Engineering (PDEng) and PhD students. Besides this, they also achieve groundbreaking research in the field of Electrical Engineering.
The Electrical Engineering faculty is inspired by its contacts within the high tech corporate world. It's an innovative faculty, with international ambition and partners. This all leads to a challenging and inspiring atmosphere, where we all work together to solve socially relevant problems.
The faculty has three themes covers education and research:
These themes return in the work of the nine researchgroups of the department. In these groups, we are researching the applying of electromagnetic occurrences in all forms of energy conversion, telecommunication, electro technical modification and the processing of information. Existing and new electrical components and systems will be analysed, designed and realised.
