TU/e delivers 2000th technological designer

Wednesday October 5th prof.dr.ir. Hans van Duijn – Rector Magnificus of Eindhoven University of Technology – has handed over the 2000th TU/e technological designer diploma to a graduate technological designer of the post-master programme Software Technology. The 29 year old Firat Vural – who completed a design project at Philips Lighting – was one of the 16 candidates that received their diploma on October 5th. They achieve the Professional Doctorate in Engineering (PDEng) degree.

Since 2006 the technological designer programmes of the thee Universities of Technology in the Netherlands are coordinated in the 3TU.School for Technological Design, Stan Ackermans Institute. At the moment the institute offers 17 programmes, divided over the three TU’s. Last month six new programmes have started.
