Students & Education
FNA is also open to students studying physics at the TU/e. Students can do projects at the TU/e as part of their course requirements. This can be done either for their Bachelor's Degree, or a Masters Degree. As part of the masters degree, a student can also undergo an external traineeship, with affiliate companies/universities.

Lectures & courses
Master students have the option of selecting courses to follow als part of their Master education. These courses are about specialized topics. The staff at FNA offer students several courses in the field of Nanoscience.
Bachelor projects
The bachelor project is the final requirement for the bachelor education for physics students at the TU/e, consisting of 14 ects. It is meant to give students an idea of what it is like to be confronted with a real work environmen.
Master projects
Much like the bachelor project, the master project is the final requirement for the Master education for physics students at the TU/e. It takes a full year, and consists of research, experimenting, writing a report, and giving an oral presentation.
External traineeships
As part of the Master program, students have to go abroad to work at a university or company. FNA offers several places that students can end up to work for a couple of months.
Master classes
FNA also challenges dutch VWO students to participate in one of our masterclasses. This gives the student first-hand experience with their physics courses by taking part in a challenging project.
If you're a good student, a masterclass is an excellent addition to your regular course.
