02. What happens if I apply after May 1?
If you submitted your application in Studielink after May 1, you will not be able to take part in your chosen program’s Study Choice Check. That means you cannot start the program, and your application will be turned down.
There are a few exceptions to this rule:
- If you applied to another TU/e Bachelor’s degree program before the May 1 deadline and your application has been accepted by the admission board, you are allowed to apply for an additional TU/e program before August 1. You must complete the Study Choice Check for this program to be eligible for enrollment.
- If you have received a binding recommendation to not continue your current Bachelor’s degree program, you are allowed to take part in the Study Choice Check even if you will not be able to meet the May 1 application deadline.
- If you are currently enrolled in another higher education program, you can apply for a TU/e Bachelor’s degree program until August 1 and still take part in that program’s Study Choice Check.
