TU/e is known for our small-scale, personal approach. To maintain this approach and the high quality of our programs, we need to ensure that the right students enroll in our most popular bachelor’s degree programs. For this reason, we appeal to you as a prospective student to give your choice of program a lot of thought. In addition, if there are more applications than we can accommodate, we will select those students who best match our selection profile.
A selection procedure is in place for the Industrial Design bachelor’s degree program. The provisional number of students that can enroll in this program in the academic year 2020-2021 is 180 (definitive numbers announced no later than 30 November).
This is a high limit! So do not get discouraged. Give the selection procedure your best shot.
The selection procedure for Industrial Design has the following criteria:
- Your average grade of your pre-exam high school year (GPA) (50%)
- Your participation in all selection activities (50%)
- Timely completion of the two online questionnaires (a TU/e and an Industrial Design questionnaire)
- Participation in one of the selection days:
- Presentation of the homework assignment (20%)
- Individual conversation (15%)
- Timely submission of the reflection assignment (15%)
Make sure that you meet these criteria, for instance by sending in the required documents in time. Otherwise, you may run the risk of being excluded from enrollment, which would be a pity. No later than January 21, 2020, you will receive an invitation by e-mail to complete the two online questionnaires. If you have timely and correctly uploaded your GPA, you will receive the request to register for one of the selection days no later than February 6, 2020. The deadline for these criteria is February 10, 2020.
