Eindhoven University of Technology is organizing an onboarding introduction day for international students called the Welcome Day. Participation is not mandatory, but we strongly encourage you to come.
The Welcome Day is intended for all international bachelor's and master's students and is aimed at acquainting them with the Netherlands, Eindhoven, and the university. We start the day with a check-in, followed by presentations featuring important information from the International Office and helpful tips from our international student community. Then, we organize an information market where you can learn about Dutch banks, insurance, bike rental, and more. You can also collect your campus card, sign up for the sports center of the University, and ask questions about your residence permit. Additionally, our international community will organize a 'crash course to the Netherlands' to familiarize you with Dutch customs and practices. We will end the day with a joint lunch. This day is free of charge.
