c - For how many numerus fixus programs can I apply each academic year?

For each academic year you can submit a maximum of two enrolment applications for a numerus fixus program, with the exception of the Medicine, Dentistry, Dental Hygiene and Physiotherapy study programs, for which you can only submit one application per numerus fixus program per academic year.

The number of times you are allowed to take part in the selection procedure varies from one educational institution to another. But: it is stipulated by law that you are never allowed to participate more than three times per studyprogram. A university or university of applied sciences can therefore decide for itself whether someone can participate once, twice or three times in the selection procedure for a particular study program at that higher education institution. At the TU/e, you can take part in the selection a maximum of 3 times per study program.

NOTE: the same programs at different universities may have the same CROHO code (Check https://www.duo.nl/zakelijk/hoger-onderwijs/studentenadministratie/opleidingsgegevens-in-croho/raadplegen-en-downloaden.jsp; Dutch only). If this is the case, you may participate in the selection procedure for this program a total of 3 times. For example, Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences in Eindhoven has the same program code as Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences in Delft (56951). As a result, you can participate in the selection for Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences a maximum of 3 times in total. So not 3 times in Delft and 3 times in Eindhoven, but 3 times in total. This also applies to Computer Science and Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

So think carefully in advance about which program and in which city you are going to apply.
