I did my bachelor’s graduation project on a wireless characterization method for antennas, in the same group where I’m now studying for my master’s degree. You usually measure antenna efficiency by attaching a cable and measuring the input and output. But with increasing miniaturization, many antennas have become too small for that. I picked up the idea of the wireless characterization method and invested my time in it, which even resulted in two papers.

The university is great, with a compact campus and everything close by. Because each research group has its own floor, it’s easy to find a place to work and talk to professors. Eindhoven itself also has an exciting city center! I’d like to do a PhD after I graduate. During my final bachelor’s project, I’ve come to enjoy the revolutionary aspect of doing and publishing research.
