I’M CONVERTING A MONASTERY INTO A MODERN REHABILITATION CENTER
“I like to find a new purpose for abandoned buildings, giving them a place in today’s society. I’m designing a plan to turn a monastery into a care center for people with technology addiction, such as gaming, smartphones, and online shopping. The chapel will become a conservatory, a place to relax, filled with plants. I am happy about the quality of education at TU/e, and the smart, flexible way the programs are designed. The small faculty makes it easy to get to know fellow students and professors. For EU citizens, studying here is affordable, and the Dutch speak English very well. I’m glad to be financially independent thanks to a part-time job and funding from the Dutch government.”
