"I came to the Netherlands for my masters studies in computer science in 2009. I chose TU/e because of two main reasons; firstly, TU/e has a very high rank compared with other universities in the world and secondly the close relationship between the university and the industry makes it possible for students to apply their knowledge to real world problems at high-tech companies such as Philips and ASML.

I did my masters project at Philips Research where i focused on patient adherence in telemonitoring. My project supervisor pointed me towards the direction of the healthcare systems design PDEng programme. The study fits well with my ambition which is to develop software solutions to be used by healthcare managers and clinicians, as well as patients. The program gives attention both to technical and non-technical areas . In addition, the HSD collaboration with globally acclaimed universities such as Imperial College London makes it possible to learn from the experiences of researchers and engineers addressing healthcare challenges in other countries."
