Giulia De Martino MSc

Giulia De Martino, PDEng ICT candidate, started on 01/02/2012 and is currently working on the project: “Pattern recognition of localized epileptic seizure”

I come from Rome, Italy, where I studied biomedical engineering. More than 2 years ago I won an Erasmus scholarship and I came here at the Electrical Engineering department (Signal Processing System group) to do my master project.  The experience was so great that when my supervisor proposed me to apply for a PDEng position in ICT, I had no hesitation at all. What I like most about working at the TU/e is the international environment, the connection between academic world and industry, and the practical approach. The project I am now involved in is in collaboration with Kempenhaeghe hospital and it is always challenging to deal with different multidisciplinary tasks that range from research in signal processing, simulation design, measurements, and data management.
