Course structure

This 2-year program focuses on giving you a sound theoretical basis in automotive engineering, together with specific multidisciplinary knowledge of modern automotive technology. Multidisciplinary research takes place at several departments where multiple research groups are involved. Together, they offer several specializations, one of which you choose in your first year. You will graduate within one of the research groups which cooperate in your chosen specialization. 

These specializations cover the broad subject of automotive technology, and include: 

Smart Mobility

  • Vehicle dynamics control 
  • Automotive human factors 

Sustainable Mobility 

  • Internal combustion engines and future fuels 
  • Electric & hybrid vehicles and transmission
