Philips, an international operating electronics company in the field of healthcare, lighting and consumer lifestyle, recognizes the added value of smart city as a strategic tool. Therefore, Philips wants to understand their right to play within the smart city market by exploring the opportunities for which product-service systems will be developed.
By means of a SWOT-analysis, a roadmap will be developed to indicate which opportunities arise for Philips in the short term and which in the long term. Arising from the roadmap, one product-service system will be elaborated by writing a business proposition.
