USI graduates are trained in user-centered design methodologies. They focus on preventing user problems, and are equipped with knowledge to develop solutions that support users in their information, communication and entertainment activities at work and at home. In brief, the USI designer’s field of work covers the design and development processes of user system interactions for new products, services and systems. With this background, USI designers become part of multidisciplinary design teams within industry, business services or government institutions.
Examples of positions held by USI graduates are usability engineer, usability consultant, human factors engineer, information architect, customer insight specialist etc.
