“Next to the technical courses, we learn a lot about the human body. We have courses on cell and tissue, heart and lung, and also practicals in the dissection room. Furthermore, we have a lot of chemistry, mathematics and physics, which I really like, and we regularly do experiments. A little while ago, we examined our own DNA discovering specific genes. I’m also looking forward to the third-year course Basic Tissue Engineering, where we’ll learn how to create various tissues. This is a technology, which will potentially help to a lot of people. Isn’t it great that something like this is possible? I feel very at home at TU/e and I also enjoy myself very much outside of the campus. I often meet up with my student-volleyball teammates to go out for a bite to eat and a drink. Great fun!”
