I’ve been fascinated by medical topics all my life, orthopaedics in particular. This is something that was confirmed for me during my Biomedical Engineering bachelor’s program. It was a logical choice for me to subsequently join the Orthopaedic Biomechanics group for my master’s program. In the future, I’d like to combine the general medical and technical knowledge I gained during my bachelor’s with the in-depth technological knowledge I’m gaining now, to contribute to the field of orthopaedic medicine. Many people have osteoarthritis or rupture their anterior cruciate ligaments, for instance, and I love the challenge to figure out ways to help these people.

I’m active in student life, I love to travel and enjoy the social events Eindhoven has to offer. What I like most about Eindhoven as a student city is its small scale, so you often run into people you know.
