Housing for Bachelor's and Master's students
How to apply for assistance with housing?
Newly admitted Bachelor’s and Master’s students receive a confirmation statement in April or May from the International Office, which includes the option to apply for assistance in finding housing.
What happens after we have received your application?
All students who have returned the confirmation statement and paid the guarantee fee before the deadline of 1 June, will be contacted regarding housing via e-mail in early June. Via this e-mail you will be asked to express a preference for one of the housing providers that TU/e has an arrangement with. Housing will be alotted on first come, first serve basis.
For the academic year 2018-2019 TU/e has arrangements with the following housing organizations regarding housing for Bachelor's and Master's students:
All rental agreements will start between 1 August 2018 and 1 September 2018. Rental prices vary from €375 to €800 per month, depending on the accommodation. In most cases you will receive a rental agreement that allows you to stay in the accommodation for the duration of your studies at TU/e. If the rental period is only for one year, this is clearly stated at time of booking.
The number of accommodations available is limited so we cannot guarantee accommodation for every student, but the International Office will do its utmost to find accommodation for everyone.
Should we not be able to provide you with accommodation, we will inform you as soon as possible and present you with information on how you can make arrangements yourself. Students who cannot be offered accommodation at first, and have returned the confirmation statement and paid the guarantee fee before 1 June, will be placed on a waiting list. Please keep in mind that the waiting list does not give you any guarantees. Information on how to find housing yourself is available here.
