Graduated and then what?
After graduating as a Bachelor, you can look for a job but most students tend to continue on to a Master's program that prepares you well for a varied career that can take all manner of directions in industry and government or design and patents. You could start off as a researcher, research leader, process/product engineer, environmental consultant, policy assistant or maybe even a teacher or lecturer. Many managers in the chemical industry also have a chemical engineering background.
Two former students tell about their job:
"It’s a great job because it combines chemistry and technology, and experimental research and practical applications"dr.ir. Mark van den Brink alumni
"You never know what the day will bring, because a process is always to some extent unpredictable"ir. Marijn Kappers alumni
