Regenerative Medicine and Technology
In cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine of Utrecht University, we have developed a special Master’s track, named Regenerative Medicine and Technology (RMT). This special Master’s track aims to educate the next generation of scientists and engineers in regenerative medicine and technology.
This rapidly emerging, multidisciplinary field has significant impact on current and future health care. It combines the expertise of both universities, and includes courses on molecular cell biology, biomaterials, imaging technologies, computational modelling, bioreactor technology and translational research. The program will comprise a mixture of courses, research-driven internships, an (international) externship and an in-depth research project.
Students will have access to state-of-the-art laboratories at both universities. The program trains multidisciplinary researchers to innovate at the intersection of biomedical science, technology and clinical applications.
This special Master’s track is formally a track of the Master’s program Biomedical Engineering. The Master’s program Biomedical Engineering is accredited by NVAO (Nederlands-Vlaamse Accreditatieorganisatie), the Accreditation Organization of the Netherlands and Flanders.
