PhD program Photonics
PhD programs in Photonics are organized within the Integrated Photonics Institute (IPI). The research within IPI addresses the whole innovation funnel, ranging from fundamental knowledge on nanophotonics and physics, materials science, design technology and device fabrication to system integration. The research is highly multidisciplinary, at the interface of Electrical Engineering (EE) and Applied Physics (AP), organized in teams both at the Departments of EE and AP.
The Photonics research has vacancies for PhDs and Postdocs on a regular basis. The list below summarizes current vacancies. For details, follow the hyperlinks.
PhD student Photonic Integration Technology for light based detection and ranging (LiDAR).
Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) has a PhD student vacancy for research on compact photonic chips for application in LIDARs, in the research group Photonic Integration (PhI) of the department of Electrical Engineering.
