''Information security is very much a hot topic at the moment. You only have to think of all the incidents in past years in which sensitive information entered the public domain. Digital information flows are on the agenda now and the security of those is complex. Everything in order field revolves around cryptography. We also learn about how to tackle hackers.
How do we learn about that? Easy: by hacking into a system yourself! If I manage to do that, I now possess knowledge of the risks associated with business operations and technology, which enables me to advise organizations in relation to information security. My personal challenge is to strike a balance between risk management and costs; in short: a good price-quality ratio. That is important to commercial parties.'
