Alicia Sánchez Crespo, PDEng ICT candidate, started on 01/09/2011 and is currently working on the project "Design and Implementation of a Dust Sensor", at NXP Semiconductors
I did my master in the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. I came to Eindhoven to do my master thesis in Philips Research. When I was close to the finalization, it was the moment to decide my next step in life. In that moment, I encountered a big gap between the university and a job. During my stay in Eindhoven I got to know the PDEng programs offered by TU/e and thought it was a good idea to fill this gap by doing this program. The PDEng program has offered me the opportunity to extend my technical knowledge while providing me professional development. Moreover, during both years I have had the opportunity to be in close contact with the industry.
