Are you looking for a career in the industry or business? If so, a technological designer course at the TU/e can give your career a boost. A Master's degree in a technological training is your starting point for one of eight designer courses in Eindhoven.
During the two-year course, you will improve your technical knowledge and learn to apply it in the field. In addition, you will work on your professional skills, in order to enhance your career opportunities. Upon completing of the course, you will earn the title of Professional Doctorate in Engineering. (PDEng)
By offering the designer program, the TU/e is responding to the need of the Dutch high-tech industry. They need experienced designers, who are capable of designing complex new products and innovative solutions. With a Master's degree, you will have the necessary theoretical basis, but extensive experience is still lacking. The second year consists of a design project in industry. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you participate in a multidisciplinary project in a leading Dutch company.
Over the last twenty years, PDEng trainees of the TU/e found challenging jobs with (inter)national companies such as Philips, ASML, TNO, Shell, Ericsson and Akzo Nobel.
After obtaining your PDEng title, you are ready for a job in the industry. But you can also choose an academic career: there are opportunities in a shorter path to promotion.
