As part of the PhD project, each PhD candidate is expected to follow several courses and participate in Ecis research activities. The planning of these activities is part of the Education and Supervision Plan. The minimal requirements of an Education and Supervision Plan are:
- To follow courses adding up to at least 12 ECTS in the area of the PhD project. When possible these courses are arranged together with other PhDs, for instance through 4TU connections. If this is not possible, an individual course track will be designed in cooperation with the first promotor of the project.
- To follow the PROOF courses “scientific integrity” and “Planning and Communication” offered by the TU/e. Other courses of PROOF are strongly recommended “Writing Scientific Articles” and “Carreer orientation”.
- To participate in at least 15 Ecis seminars and 2 Ecis annual research days.
