After finishing your PhD
The Eindhoven University of Technology is located in a high-tech region in which computer science plays an extremely important role. The region has been named the smartest region in the world, partly thanks to the large number of PhD graduates working in the region. Computer science is at the core of research in companies such as Philips, ASML, NXP and also many small and medium enterprises that create technologies and applications for the future. Former PhD graduates from our university have also been hired later as (often part-time) professors to strengthen the link between university and industry research and to bring their industrial experience back into the university education and research.
