Student mechanical workshop

Student Mechanical workshop is a place where students learn by doing and can acquire knowledge on the operation of various processes involved in manufacturing and production. The mechanical workshop supports our challenge-based learning education and prototyping activities.

Under supervision of our technicians, students can manufacture complex precision components and prototypes as needed for their challenges.
Situated on the ground floor of the Matrix building this facility is equipped with a wide range of machine tools, conventional lathe and milling machine and welding, drilling and fabrication equipment. We can advice you (e.g. on the use of CAD packages to) enhance your design and manufacturing capabilities.
