This week a new volume of More World History of the Netherlands (“Nog meer wereldgeschiedenis van Nederland”) was presented at the International Institute of Social History IISG in Amsterdam.
Researchers from the Eindhoven History Lab contributed the following chapters:
1872: Nederlandse waterstaat naar Japan en China (Eric Berkers)
1924: Strijd om de plek van de fiets (Patrick Bek & Henk-Jan Dekker)
1931: Unilevers Multinationale Macht (Frank Veraart)
1987: Philips een onmisbare pijler onder Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (Mila Davids)
The book (in Dutch) is available in Dutch bookstores from 20 October.
