Whether we are captains of industry or simply of our own ship, we all make better decisions when we include diverse opinions in our decision-making, a phenomenon known as the "wisdom of the inner crowd.

Research by Philippe Van de Calseyde and Emir Efendić shows that individuals can also employ this strategy by making their own judgments from the perspective of people they often disagree with. Van de Calseyde and Efendić's research shows that this approach produces highly accurate "inner crowds" which can make it a powerful tool for accurate decision making.
