Lower tuition fees for students from Ukraine

On 17 May 2022, it was announced by UNL that all fourteen universities in the Netherlands will reduce the tuition fees for refugee Ukrainian students for the academic year 2022-2023.  
 
At TU/e, we are extending this arrangement a little further: prospective and current students with the Ukrainian nationality as well as refugees from Ukraine, will pay the statutory rate (€2.209,-) for all bachelor's and (pre-)master's programs as of the academic year 2022-2023. 
 
Good to know 
Students covered by this rate who are in a three-year bachelor's program will pay the lower statutory rate for four years or until they finish their program. Students covered by this rate and who are in a two-year master’s program will pay the lower rate for three years or until they finish their program. Students can only follow one bachelor's or master's program at the statutory rate. 
 
This measure takes effect starting 1 September 2022 and ends 31 August 2023. Every year it will be decided whether this measure will be extended for students starting that academic year.
