Stimulating sustainability in higher education

This year the National Day for Sustainability in Higher Education (NDDH018) will take place at TU/e, on Friday 25 May. During NDDHO18 the latest developments in the area of green ICT and sustainability in higher education and research in the Netherlands will be presented. Next to presentations, demos and pitches the annual SustainaBul will be presented as well.

The the National Day for Sustainability in Higher Education is organised for the fifth time. This year’s theme will be Sustainable. Connecting. Circular. The event is interesting for everybody interested in sustainability in general and in the deployment of ICT to bring about sustainabilization in education, research and operational management. There will also be a market on which student teams and startups from TU/e will show themselves.

On this day the 7th edition of the SustainaBul will be presented as well, the ranking of Dutch universities and institutes of higher professional education in the area of sustainability. Both in 2017 and in 2016 TU/e managed to secure the second place. Last year the Atlas building won a SustainaBul Award for the most iconic project for integrality of research, education and operational management.

On the website from SURF the full program can be found and the registration form. Two sessions will be in English.
