ICMS is excited to announce its renewed partnership with Clariant, and to welcome FujiFilm as the newest member of the Industrial Consortium.
Clariant is a globally leading specialty chemicals company focusing on four core business areas: Plastics & Coatings, Catalysis, Natural Resources, and Care Chemicals. Their materials find applications in areas ranging from food ingredients and gas processing, to functional minerals and adhesives. Clariant has more than 50 technical centers across the world, including R&D locations dedicated to Biotechnology, Chemistry & Materials, Process Technologies, and Catalysis. Continuing to build on their existing partnership, ICMS and Clariant will work together with out-of-the-box methods to develop different technology options, finding solutions for industrial and consumer challenges.
Fujifilm is one of the best-regarded camera brands worldwide; however, their imaging expertise goes far beyond photography. Their innovations extend to the fields of Medical Systems for diagnostic imaging, Optical Devices, and developing Industrial Products such as digital X-ray technology for defect identification in materials, filter/membrane products. Fujifilm has three operating segments: Imaging Solutions, Healthcare and Material Solutions, and Document Solutions. Fujifilm has its technology center in Tilburg for production of photographic paper, offset printing plates, and membranes, and R&D for membranes and regenerative medicine, which makes Fujifilm a near neighbour to the TU/e. ICMS will work with Fujifilm to tackle their industrial research challenges.
We are really looking forward to a bright future with Clariant and FujiFilm as partners in the Industrial Consortium.
