Digital graphic art

Computers (Photoshop, Indesign) are today indispensable tools in the creation of graphic art. An image may first be reworked and subsequently transformed into graphic, or otherwise be made entirely using a computer. It may finally be printed manually, but this too is increasingly being done through computers. Graphic art, which always used to be a matter of manual craftsmanship, is going through a process of modernization and widening of scope.

Whereas Dijsselbloem designs entire landscapes in his computer, Reisch combines multiple photographs of existing landscapes into a new composition. Both landscapes do not in reality exist. As in all his computer works, Reisch avoids any presence of human or animal life; buildings also are fully absent from his works.
