Description

The portable tensile testing machine is used to study the behavior of polymers under tensile load whereby the sample is simultaneously radiated by x-rays. Since the radiation often occurs on site (synchrotron radiation at CERN in Geneva), the tensile testing machine must be easy to carry (suitcase). During the experiment the tensile testing machine can be remote controlled from a laptop.
