About the event

As of this year we are organizing a new event: DSCE Community Day. We are inviting all staff that are active in our six research programs (some 100 persons in total). Goal is to strengthen the network, get to know more colleagues and ultimately enable creating better research proposals & more projects.

This community day will be a much smaller and more focused setting that the Data Science Summit that we will continue to organize too. We will have a number of inspiring talks on societal relevant Data Science subjects (see abstracts below), and plenty of time for networking and enjoying drinks and snacks.

We hope you are able to join this new event and use this opportunity to meet and mingle. Please let us know your availability by accepting or declining this invitation.

Data Science

Data Science is an interdisciplinary field that uses a variety of techniques to create value based on extracting knowledge and insights from available data. The successful and responsible application of these methods highly depends on a good understanding of the application domain, taking into account ethics, business models, and human behavior.
