On Thursday October 10 and Friday October 11 as well as on Monday November 25 through Wednesday November 27 a panel of the Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organisation (NVAO) will be visiting Eindhoven University of Technology. TU/e has applied to NVAO to be subjected to the Institutional Audit Quality Assurance (“ITK”, as the Dutch abbreviation reads). During this audit, a NVAO panel will examine whether Eindhoven University of Technology is ensuring the quality of education in an adequate way. This involved both maintaining quality but certainly also improving the quality of education.
On Thursday October 10 at 7pm, during the location visit in Eindhoven, the panel will organise an open consultation for students and staff of Eindhoven University of Technology.
The panel will be presided by Ramses Wessel; panel members include Miriam Luizink, Wim van Petegem, Nico de Rooij and as a student member Diane van Wanrooij. Yvet Blom will act as panel secretary, Frank Wamelink (NVAO) as project coordinator.
Whoever would like to speak to the panel about the way educational quality assurance is being implemented within Eindhoven University of Technololgy can register confidentially with the process coordinator, Frank Wamelink, policy advisor at NVAO. He can be reached by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org. This will involve a 10-minutes consultation at most.
You can register no later than October 7, 2019. You are requested to not only mention your name and position, but also the topic you intend to address. Your personal data will not be shared with the institution and your consultation with the panel will be treated with strict confidentiality.
You will receive a response mentioning the place and time of the open consultation.
It is also possible to use the open consultation at a different moment or by phone. In that case as well you are requested to register with the project coordinator by e-mail.
