About Us

Falcon Electric Aviation is a studentteam of Eindhoven University of Technology. A multidisciplinary group of students develops a more sustainable and modular powertrain for the Cessna 150.

Aviation is a substantial and growing form of mobility around the world. At this moment, however, aviation is not taken into account in efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This needs to change, aviation needs to become sustainable. Therefore, Team Falcon is working towards a world with an abundance in sustainable mobility in aviation by developing an electric airplane.

In order to achieve this, team falcon mobilizes capacity of students and the (automotive) industry of the Netherlands. Together, we will make it possible to rebuild and existing and polluting small aircraft to a more sustainable one.

The key challenges in this project are:

  • Energy Capacity and Weight
  • Powertrain Efficiency
  • Scalability over different types of Aircrafts
