Three Top Sector Chemistry Scholarships for TU/e-students
Three TU/e Master's students in Chemical Engineering received a scholarship worth 10,000 euros on Wednesday, 21 November. A total of 16 VNCI Top Sector Chemistry scholarships are financed by chemical companies and awarded by the Association of the Dutch Chemical Industry (VNCI). The scholarships were created to increase the flow of qualified chemists to industry.
The Top Sector Chemistry Scholarships are awarded every year to excellent chemistry Master's students who study at a university in the Netherlands. Students, universities and sponsoring companies meet and work together within the Chemistry Top Talents Community. The students work on current and real issues in chemistry and do an internship at the sponsoring company.
The TU/e winners
Anouk de Leeuw den Bouter receives her scholarship from ExxonMobil. Eastman sponsors Nikolaj d'Hooghe. And the scholarship of Bart van den Bersselaar is sponsored by Baril.
