As a Master in Science Education and Communication you have subject-specific and subject-didactic knowledge and skills at a scientific level. You also have insight into the educational, psychological and pedagogical aspects of the learning process of pupils. A teacher has a broad range of duties; of teaching and guiding pupils, by teaching the school together with others to develop teaching methods. The Master's program is therefore a good start for anyone who thinks of working as a (technical) consultant or in interdisciplinary teams. The didactic and communicative skills that you gain often make you a popular employee and can also be useful in management tasks.
After this master, it is possible to acquire a PhD position at the ESoE or elsewhere and thus work on a PhD follow-up study of this Master of Science!
