Working at Electrical Engineering
EE is recruiting 50 scientific top talents the next 5 years!
Eindhoven University of Technology is situated in the heart of Europe's leading innovative top technology region Brainport in the South-East of the Netherlands.
We are an ambitious, innovative and fast growing university combining leading-edge scientific research with attention to professional development and personal growth.
The Department Electrical Engineering at the TU/e educates Bachelor and Master of Science students (BSc/MSc), PDEng (Professional Doctors in Engineering) and PhD students. In addition to this, we carry out cutting-edge research in many domains of Electrical Engineering. Much research is done in close cooperation with large high-tech companies, such as Philips, ASML, NXP, as well as many small/medium enterprises.
The Department aims to maintain and extend its international forefront position, and strives for strong international cooperation. We offer a challenging and inspiring atmosphere, where we work together to solve socially relevant problems.
The Department has defined three themes covering all research and education activities:
Care and Cure, The Connected World, and Smart and Sustainable Society. Led by these themes, the nine research groups of the department are jointly researching, for example, the application of electrical engineering principles in energy generation and conversion, in telecommunication networks, signal processing systems, and process control systems. Novel electrical/optical components and systems are being analysed, designed, realised and prototype-tested.
Due to the rapid growth of our department, in the course of the next five years we expect to create dozens of scientific vacancies at all levels, from PhD to full professor positions.
We are therefore interested in meeting candidates with international ambition and strong relevant scientific background.
At the moment we have the following vacant positions for Assistant/Associate/Full Professors.
