The transition to a more sustainable society requires more than technological change alone. Rather, it requires fundamental changes in:
- the behaviour of individuals and firms, such as new business models and new collaborations for multiple value creation, and in
- governance and institutions.
We design circular and sustainable innovation ecosystems which are socio-economic building blocks for a more sustainable society. Our experts in the social sciences and humanities work in close cooperation with TU/e’s engineering departments in order to approach sustainability transitions from a systems perspective
